Rusty Willis – Owner

From a young age, I developed a fascination with collecting rocks and gemstones, a passion that naturally evolved into jewelry making as I grew older. This journey into precious metals ignited my creativity, and I began crafting custom jewelry as a fulfilling hobby.

As I delved deeper into this craft, I became increasingly aware of the environmental impact of electronic waste. In 2019 alone, a staggering 53.6 million tons of e-waste were generated globally, highlighting a critical issue that we can no longer overlook. This realization sparked a passion in me for diverting e-waste from landfills and promoting recycling.

My background as a combat engineer and infantry member in the Army Reserves has instilled in me a strong sense of duty and responsibility. I am committed to applying that same dedication to fostering sustainable practices within our communities. Through my work, I aim to make a positive impact by encouraging the responsible recycling of e-waste materials and helping to create a cleaner, greener future.

Brittany Willis – Volunteer

With a decade of experience in the credit union industry, I have honed my skills in customer service and community engagement. Throughout my career, I’ve always been driven by a desire to make a positive impact, which is why I am excited to shift my focus toward e-waste recycling. I believe in the importance of serving our community and promoting sustainability, and I see this transition as an opportunity to combine those passions.

In addition to my role at The Sterling Standard LLC, where I volunteer to support our e-waste recycling efforts, I work as a Behavioral Technician, providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with autism. This role has deepened my commitment to helping others and has taught me the value of patience, understanding, and community support.

I am enthusiastic about the potential of e-waste recycling to not only protect our environment but also to educate and engage our community in sustainable practices. By bridging my background in finance with my passion for service, I aim to contribute to a cleaner, more sustainable future for all.
